Parachute is now accepting applications for the Stacey Levitt Memorial Award. Stacey Levitt was struck and killed while jogging in 1995 – she was only 18 years old. Parachute is executing the $2500 award, which is open to current high school students across Canada. The award was created in memory and celebration of the life of Stacey, and encourages youth to embody Stacey’s qualities, ideals and Parachute’s overarching goal of living long lives to the fullest. The deadline to apply is Feb. 27, and the winner will be announced April 30, 2015.
