These past few months we have been working hard and are pleased to announce the refresh of cattonline.com, the home of the Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT).

Developed by Dr. Shelina Babul, Associate Director/Sports Injury Specialist with the BCIRPU, we first launched the CATT course for medical professionals in 2013, and added additional courses for coaches, parents of players, and school professionals shortly after.

We have combined our three toolkits—CATT for Medical Professionals, CATT for Parents, Players, and Coaches, and CATT for School Professionals—into one website. The new website contains more information about concussions, new pages for our courses, a section for latest news, and more.

We have also refreshed the look and functionality of the SCAT5 and Child SCAT5 tools for use by medical and licensed health care professionals for use in office or on any desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

cattonline.com has been updated to reflect the 2017 Concussion in Sport Group Consensus Statement. The e-learning module for medical professionals will be updated to reflect the new standards by Spring 2018, with the others to follow.

View the new cattonline.com and let us know your thoughts by emailing us at concussion@bcchr.ca or sharing your thoughts on Twitter or Facebook. Special thanks to the team at the BCCH Digital Lab for their diligent and meticulous work!
