Our 2023/2024 Annual Report has been completed. Each year, this report provides a summary of our activities in the areas of: provincial-level collaboration and support, research, knowledge translation and community efforts, and academic achievements.
In 2023/2024, BCIRPU celebrated its 25th anniversary with a one-day symposium attended by current and past staff and stakeholders. We received funding to work with the Office of the Fire Commissioner and Preventable on a smoke alarm and fire safety education campaign. Furthermore, we continued our work to advance the three provincial priorities for injury prevention.

The BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit is a leader in the production and transfer of injury prevention knowledge and the integration of evidence-based injury prevention practices in the daily lives of those at risk, those who care for them, and those with a mandate for public health and safety in British Columbia.
