Each year, BCIRPU coordinates BC Seniors' Fall Prevention Awareness Week, focused on preventing falls and fall-related injuries among BC seniors, through Finding Balance BC.

Since 2006, BCIRPU has had a strategic partnership with Preventable, a province-wide social marketing campaign aimed at changing attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours toward preventable injuries.

This initiative implements the Period of PURPLE Crying© Program to all new families across the province. BC has continued to maintain the lowest incidence rates of traumatic head injury by child maltreatment in Canada.
